Rachael Ray: Sunny Anderson Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe

Sunny Anderson just couldn’t wait to show Rachael Ray how she transforms a frozen cheese pizza into her Buffalo Chicken Pizza delight! (ginnerobot / Flickr)

  • 1 C rotisserie chicken – shredded
  • 3/4 C pepper jack cheese
  • 1 carrot – shredded
  • 1 frozen cheese pizza
  • 1/4 C buffalo sauce
  • 2 ribs celery + celery leaves
  • blue cheese or ranch dressing – to serve

  1. Preheat the oven according to the pizza package directions
  2. In a medium-size bowl, toss the shredded chicken and the buffalo sauce until coated
  3. Scatter the chicken over the frozen pizza
  4. Add the cheese in an even layer over the saucy chicken
  5. Put the pizza in the oven and cook according to package directions

To Garnish:

  1. Use a vegetable peeler to make ribbons of celery (run the peeler down the side of the rib of celery)
  2. Put the ribbons into ice water until ready to use
  3. Chop the celery leaves and set aside as a garnish
  4. Remove the pizza from the oven and top with celery ribbons, shredded carrot, celery leaves, and some dressing
