Clinton Kelly shared a way to enjoy breakfast in a way that tastes like dessert. He explained that he has started counting calories, and likes to have a smoothie for breakfast. He shared a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Morning Smoothie recipe. A banana is loaded with potassium and other nutrients, and peanut butter is loaded with protein, but higher in calories. He added dark chocolate as well because it’s good for you and delicious! Plus, almond milk because it’s low in calories and high in calcium! This is one absolutely loaded smoothie that Clinton drinks every morning.

  • 1 tbsp all-natural peanut butter
  • 1 oz bittersweet chocolate chips (85%)
  • 1-2 C ice
  • 1 banana – peeled
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 8 oz unsweetened almond milk

The Chew: Morning Smoothie Recipe Directions

  1. Into the pitcher of a blender, add all ingredients
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Enjoy!
