Damaris Phillips loves the holidays and loves to whip up her mom’s Holiday Cereal Mix to have to snack on whenever she gets the munchies around Christmas time. It’s a staple in her house and is relatively easy to make, which is why you should be heading to your kitchen now to gather the ingredients and get started! To really take it over the top, Damaris throws in a little bourbon!

Rachael Ray: Damaris Phillips Holiday Cereal Mix

  • 3 C rice cereal
  • 2 C peanuts
  • 1 C sesame sticks
  • 1/4 C melted butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp bourbon (optional)
  • 3 C corn cereal
  • 3 C oat cereal
  • 1 C pecans
  • 1 C rye chips
  • 1/4 C toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp togarashi

Rachael Ray: Damaris Phillips Holiday Cereal Mix Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
  2. To a larg bowl, add all the cereal, pecans, peanuts, rye chips, and sesame sticks
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, bourbon, honey, and togarashi
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mix and stir to coat evenly
  5. Divide evenly onto two cookie sheets and bake until golden and crisp, about 45-55 minutes
  6. Stir every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking
  7. Cool and store in an airtight container for up to two weeks
