Rachael Ray: Healthy Guacamole, Ranch, & Blue Cheese Dips
Author and healthy eating guru Audrey Johns’ managed to lose 150 pounds by making the right food choices. After sharing her recipe for a healthy Giant Breakfast Cookie, she then moved on to prepare three different dips full of only the healthiest ingredients. Her secret to adding protein and avoiding unhealthy fat and calories, was to use Greek yogurt and avocado. She showed Rachael Ray and Bob Harper her recipes for Guacamole, Ranch, and Blue Cheese Dips. You can easily put these dips together and enjoy them alongside dippers like carrots, celery, cucumber, or broccoli.

Rachael Ray: Audrey Johns Guacamole Dip Recipe Ingredients

Audrey Johns’ shared three differently recipes for healthy dips that pair perfectly with fresh veggies. (merfam / Flickr)
- 2/3 C 0% Greek yogurt
- juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 green onion – chopped
- kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 4-6 tbsp salsa
- 1 tomato – seeded, diced
- 1 jalapeno – seeded, minced
- veggie sticks – to serve
Audrey Johns: Rachael Ray Guacamole Dip Recipe Directions
- Cut the avocado in half, then remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl
- Use a fine grater to shred the garlic into the bowl
- Smash the garlic and avocado together using the back of a fork to create a smooth mixture
- Add the salsa, yogurt, lime juice, onion, tomato, jalapeno, then the salt and pepper
- Mix together, then add more lime juice or salt if desired
- Serve with veggie sticks
Rachael Ray: Audrey Johns Ranch Dip Recipe Ingredients
- 3 tbsp minced fresh chives
- 1/2 tsp minced fresh dill
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/2 clove garlic – minced
- 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 2 C 0% Greek yogurt
- veggie sticks – to serve

- Combine all ingredients except for the veggie sticks in a food processor or blender
- Blend until smooth, then serve with veggie sticks
Rachael Ray: Audrey Johns Chunky Blue Cheese Dip Recipe Ingredients
- 1 C 0% Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 4 green onions – sliced thin
- 1/4 C crumbled blue cheese
- veggie sticks – to serve
Audrey Johns: Rachael Ray Chunky Blue Cheese Dip Recipe Directions
- Put the green onions in a medium bowl, but save 1 tbsp as a garnish
- Add the blue cheese, yogurt, and pepper, then carefully fold together to avoid smashing the cheese
- Top with the saved green onions
- Serve with veggie sticks
