Rachael Ray: Lauren Conrad’s Jalapeno Lime Margarita

Lauren Conrad, author of “Celebrate,” certainly knows how to entertain! One of her party tricks is to set up a margarita bar with pitchers full of different flavored margaritas, alongside non-alcoholic beverages. That way, you’re sure to satisfy all your thirsty guests! Plus, it looks stunning on its own! Lauren shared some of her favorite margarita recipes, including a Jalapeno Lime Margarita that will give you just the right amount of sweet, tart, and spicy!

Rachael Ray: Lauren Conrad Jalapeno Lime Margarita

Lauren Conrad shared one of her favorite cocktail recipes for a Jalapeno Lime Margarita. (thedelicious / Flickr)

  • 1/2 large green jalapeno pepper – sliced thin
  • 2 oz honey
  • 2 lime wedges – to garnish
  • 1/2 C freshly squeezed lime juice (it has to be fresh!)
  • 4 oz silver tequila
  • 2 tbsp sea salt
  • 2 sprigs cilantro – to garnish (optional)

Lauren Conrad: Rachael Ray Jalapeno Lime Margarita Recipe Directions

  1. In the bottom of a pitcher, muddle the jalapeno slices with the lime juice
  2. Add the honey and tequila, then stir until the honey is completely dissolved
  3. Pour the sea salt into the bottom of a small bowl
  4. Dip the top of each glass in the margarita mixture, then let it drain off
  5. Press the top of the glass into the bowl of salt
  6. Carefully tap the glass with your hand to get rid of any excess
  7. Fill each glass with fresh ice, then pour into the margarita mix
  8. Garnish with cilantro and fresh lime
