YouTube star Elise Strachan from the popular web series “My Cupcake Addiction”was on Today Show to kick off a series of No-Cook Recipes to help you keep your kitchen cool when the temperature rises. She shared a No-Bake Strawberry Milkshake Tart with Oreo Crust, as well as No-Bake Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake Jars.

Today: No-Bake Strawberry Milkshake Tart with Oreo Crust Recipe

Moms will love a dessert that you don’t have to bake on hot days when the kids are home from school. But this recipe is also perfect for anyone who loves strawberry flavors. (Did I mention the Oreo crust?)

“Use nice, big sweeping movements” to fold in the cream, Elise explained. You can use sprinkles or anything else you like to decorate the cake once it has chilled. What would you like to sprinkle on top?

Today Show: Elise Strachan No-Bake Strawberry Milkshake Tart with Oreo Crust Recipe Ingredients

  • 24 crushed Oreo Cookies
  • 1 melted stick Butter
  • 16 oz room temperature Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Nesquik Strawberry Milk Powder
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Whole Milk
  • Pink Food Coloring

Elise Strachan: Today Show No-Bake Strawberry Milkshake Tart with Oreo Crust Recipe Directions

  1. Stir melted butter into the Oreo crumbs to form the base for this tart.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan with a detachable base (or use a springform pan).
  3. Stir strawberry milk powder into the milk.
  4. Combine milk mix with sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla until well mixed.
  5. Add food coloring, if desired.
  6. Fold cream into the strawberry mixture.
  7. Chill for around five hours in the fridge, or until firm.
  8. Use extra whipped cream, as well as sprinkles or other toppings, to garnish the tart before serving.
